Thomas P. Barron is the firm’s founder and has been in practice in the area for over 45 years. In his role, Tom is involved in all operations of the firm and oversees his client base by responding to their evolving needs.
Building long-term relationships is the foundation of Tom’s beliefs and his clients rely on him for his experience in all areas of tax planning and consulting. He is a valued member of the community and has spent his career forming close working relationships with clients and serving as a trusted business and personal advisor. Tom has extensive experience in tax consulting and planning, mergers and acquisitions, estate and trust tax preparation, and business planning. He has served a wide range of clients including corporations, pass-through entities and individuals in many industries and professions.
Tom received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Central Connecticut State College. He’s a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Tom resides in Torrington with his wife, Carol, and enjoys family, friends, golfing and trips to Cape Cod.
