Kristen Deming joined Barron & Company, LLP in 2008 as an Administrative Assistant and has since transitioned into her position as a Staff Accountant.
Kristen’s accounting career began at the age of 17 when she performed bookkeeping and accounting services at a local accounting firm. She earned her Associate of Science degree in Business and Management Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting prior to earning her Master of Science degree in Accounting and Taxation at the University of Hartford.
Kristen is best known for her positive nature and faces every day with a smile. She assists her clients in a compassionate yet professional manner. Kristen specializes in monthly bookkeeping, accounting, payroll preparation, and reporting. Her experience includes tax preparation for individuals, small businesses, corporations, partnerships, and tax-exempt organizations. In addition to her accounting skills, Kristen’s knowledge of computers gave her the additional role of internal IT support for the firm.
Kristen is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Kristen’s off-the-job interests include attending concerts, traveling, and watching sports.
